This was a wonderful message for me to hear at this phase of my life and faith journey. I need to remember to take time to be quiet and reflect, to get away from the noises and demands of my daily life and become still. However when the quiet is disturbed by little voices, remember too that cares of the day are often the blessings.
As he went ashore, he saw a great crowd; and he had compassion for them, because they were like sheep without a shepherd; and he began to teach them many things. Mark 6:34
That is so cool. I really like your blog good job. can you follow my blog THE NICE KNITTER.COM thank you
ReplyDeleteThank you for the important reminder. I remember thinking the same thing during the Gospel - how I need to make more of an effort to carve out quiet prayer time but not be discouaged or frustrated when my little ones make their needs known during this time. I have a post related to this subject floating around in this foggy mind of mine that I hope to write one of these days.
ReplyDeleteAlso, many thanks for your support over at Inside Catholic. This little blogging community has become quite a source of inspiration and encouragement for me - quite like a ministry really. Likewise, it's so nice to have adults to "talk" to when my husband is MIA as he often is lately.
Enjoy your weekend.
Blessings,
Kate
